16:04:00

Fashion trends may come and go, but polka dots seem to live on forever.  Feminine, flirty and a tad retro, it's not surprising that this vintage print has endured the test of time.

It’s a vintage trend that many women have fall in love with; no matter the age, women from around the world love polka dots it comes in a wide variety of colours choice and styles that can suit to everyone.

This season, there is no wrong way to wear polka dots. They're splashed on handbags, trench coats, swimsuits, espadrilles, ballerina flats, sundresses, ball gowns, shirts, skirts and even on sunglasses frames and on nails.

Whether large, small, black & white, or colourful–polka dots are everywhere this season. When it comes to rocking polka dots, there are no restrictions.  Don’t be afraid of colour.

You can wear an all-over polka dot print, with dots the size of tennis balls, or you can go for a more subtle & abstract polka-dotted look. If you want a dash of polka-dotted flavor, opt for polka dot shoes, bags and jewelry.

Unlike other vintage trends, polka dots offer an intriguing way of mixing and matching with other bold colours. Clever and sensible use of this print can help you achieve various desirable styles.

Mix your prints. Florals and dots, dots on dots and stripes on dots. Pattern mixing is so popular this spring/summer, why not add in a little dotted flare.

Polka dots are classic in black and white, but with a pop of bold colour and clean gold jewelry, the look is striking and sophisticated.

Keep it classic. Pair then with great classic pieces such as a nice leather handbag, nude trench coat or black cigarette jeans.

Keep your jewelry simple. Dots and too much bling? No good. Keep you jewelry simple so that the pattern of the piece can really be the statement piece.  A polka-dotted clutch or a polka dotted hair band will make your outfit look spunky.  It’s also a good idea to wear these dots on your nails.  Jump right in, cause after all - it's only a few dots and spots!
